One of our favourite places to visit is Kew Gardens, and its just a short bus trip away. We got lucky today, Kew has got a fantastic display in its Princess of Wales glasshouse. Butterflies and moths flying free amongst tropical plants. Some of them are as big as birds, absolutely spectacular!

Beautiful photos, Sarah. Have you ever seen an owl butterfly? Another awesome one to see. What type of camera did you use for these photos?
Gorgeous photos! What a great place to visit. But, um, moths. . . They really scare the bejeebers out of me. i don't know why, I think it's from one time I came in the house after dark and one fluttered around my head when I turned on the light. I don't like to see them in person, but I love to look at your photos here :)
Amazing photos! The best colors come from Mother Nature!
Thankyou they are gorgeous, I took them with a Panasonic DMC-FZ28. Its a superzoom camera with a Lumix lens. Its proving to be a great little camera!
